Bardwell & Rye was born in Louisville, Kentucky — where limestone hills roll into horse country and the seasons still set the pace.

Our name borrows from the land around us: rye, the grain that grows slow in Kentucky fields and gives its best only with time. We design clothing the same way — honest materials, considered cuts and colors drawn from a Kentucky autumn: bourbon, burgundy, oak and stone. Pieces you reach for season after season, that only get better the longer you wear them.
